Multiplica Lab – Works in Progress: Parasites

As part of the Multiplica Lab project, the artists present visitors with a first stage of their work before continuing their residency at Bliiida in Metz. For one day, the public is invited to experience the Parasites installation by Amélie Samson and the musical setup created by Minuit 47. The audience's reactions will contribute to the artists' reflections for the continuation of their residency, leading up to the advanced project presentations at Bliiida on June 25, 2026. The Parasites installation gives a physical form to the digital noises of our daily lives, with organic creatures made from familiar sounds and activated by pumps, installed on abandoned devices. This work questions sensory saturation and the omnipresence of digital noise by confronting the public with what they have learned to ignore. Amélie Samson collaborated with Luxembourgish musician Ryvage for the sound creation of the installation.
