Repair Cafés are volunteer meetups where participants work together to repair broken items: IT hardware & software, furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothing, bicycles, mechanical devices. Held under the shelter at the Walferdange Sports Hall. For touchscreen devices, only diagnostics and advice are generally offered. It is recommended to use specialized shops for repairs, as they have the proper tools and expertise. Before attending, please check: – Device power supply (indicator light on, batteries charged, power cord in good condition). – Device maintenance (clean filters, descaled coffee maker, etc.). Bring everything necessary to test your item: charger, cable, manual, spare part if available, DVD for a DVD player, capsule for a coffee machine, etc. If you have skills (electronics, woodworking, mechanics, sewing...), or would like to help with welcoming and organizing, contact the team to support the Repair Café.
