The show Alf & Orel offers a hypnotic journey where sound and images blend into an organic, vibrant and profoundly contemporary experience. On a vegetal islet—a small haven of gentle nature—the two multi-instrumentalist musicians Yurie Hu and Izza Nguyen delicately tell us the story of Jeanne Macaigne. Music becomes a character in its own right: it dialogues with the author's sensitive prose, responds to it, wraps it up, and sometimes overflows. With a multitude of instruments and an impressive musical palette, the two musicians act as both narrators and characters. Their magnetic and mischievous presence immerses us in a sensitive epic at the heart of nature, to the rhythm of the seasons.
