Self-drying clay modeling course

This course offers an introduction to the fundamental techniques of clay modeling. Participants will learn to use specific tools (rib, loop tool, modeling tool), to shape the clay by the techniques of slab, coil, and pinching, as well as to hollow out, assemble, and decorate their creations. The objective is to acquire the essential gestures to create a personal, stable, and expressive piece. Materials to bring: 2 blocks of air-drying clay (500 g), a set of modeling tools, a cloth, a spray bottle, 2 airtight boxes (approx. 30 cm), an empty jam jar, 2 clothespins, a pencil, and trash bags.
