Loosely based on a short story by H. P. Lovecraft, the master of fantasy literature, the story takes us not far from the town of Arkham in 1989. A meteorite crashes near the Gardner family’s farm, and the family watches helplessly as the surrounding natural environment slowly deteriorates. Disturbing phenomena multiply until the day Ammi Pierce, the Gardners’ neighbor, reports their disappearance to the sheriff’s office. The police investigation stalls, but three years later, Doreen Harper, an FBI special agent, returns to the scene of the tragedy to try to solve the mystery of the “strange days.” What happened? An introduction to the show will be held 1 hour before each performance, and there will be a tea time to sample fine teas and a selection of sweet and savory treats on October 4 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ariston bar
